According to the letter of advice, a written complaint was submitted by an individual working in the Human Resources and Administration department at Kaleshwaram package-10, within the group pump house draft tube work site. The complaint stated that eight individuals were engaged in stone excavation within a tunnel when suddenly stones from the tunnel’s roof collapsed on them. Tragically, seven of them lost their lives, and one person sustained injuries in this incident. Upon investigation, it was determined that there was air space among the stones, which contributed to the accident.

Subsequently, a team from the Chemistry Section of TGFSL visited the crime scene upon request. They identified and marked the materials to be collected for analysis, with the aim of identifying any potentially hazardous substances that may have caused this incident at the crime scene.

Upon analyzing the submitted crime exhibits, the presence of explosives was identified in the remnants of the debris, stones, and stone pieces, among other materials.
